November Howler

Don't forget Daylight Saving time began on November 7 and you need to roll your clocks back! The tardy bell rings at 7:40 am. Any student who is tardy will need to be signed in by their parent (unless of course they rode their bike unaccompanied to school).

Trunk or Treat Success!

We hope everyone had fun at our first ever Trunk or Treat event. How amazing to have our staff, students and community come together since our last event in 2019!! We hope to continue this tradition for years to come!

We were able to collect 202 pounds of cans for the North Texas Food Bank which equates to 168 total means provided to hungry neighbors. Great job!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

In-person Book Fair is BACK! This means Carlisle needs volunteers to set up, run, and tear down the book fair, which will be held in the library, Nov. 15-19.

Yearbook Cover Contest Winners

Congratulations to our Yearbook contest winners - 1st place/Front cover to Finley Thornbrugh and 2nd place/Back cover to Jonah Mun. Carlisle teachers chose the top 5 from out of 30 entries and the students voted for their favorites. Great job to ALL who participated. Carlisle Coyotes have some amazing talent!

Honorable mentions: 3rd place - Avery Gallovich, 4th place - Evelyn Pang and 5th place - Grace Talbot.

Watch DOGS is Back!

Carlisle Dads & Father Figures-

It is finally that time again to spend a day with the kids and represent for the Watch DOGS. It's quick and easy this year. Since we couldn't have the pizza party and sign up event; we have created the calendar on VOLY (the volunteer website) so you can submit your background check and sign up all in one place. So.........
1) Create your account in VOLY
2) Submit your background check
3) Once approved, go to Find Opportunities
4) Select Schools and enter Carlisle Elementary
5) Select PTA Watch DOGS Signup

At that point you can maneuver about the calendar and select the day you would like to volunteer.
